Research In Motion has confirmed that the Blackberry Curve 3G will be available for Optus and Vodafone customers next month.

The Blackberry Curve 3G supports 3G (HSDPA) networks, has a full-QWERTY keyboard, optical trackpad, built-in GPS and Wi-Fi, as well as dedicated media keys. It also comes with a 2-megapixel camera and supports up to 32GB of storage.
In addition, RIM says that the BlackBerry Curve 3G is ‘Blackberry 6 ready’. The new OS will be available for the handset in the coming months.
Research In Motion’s Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand, Adele Beachley said, “The BlackBerry Curve series has been very popular in Australia and we are excited to extend the series with the new BlackBerry Curve 3G.”
The new BlackBerry Curve 3G will be available in Optus and Vodafone stores at the beginning of September and at 3 stores from October.
