Research In Motion has a major Middle East problem. The United Arab Emirates has announced that BlackBerry e-mail, instant-messaging and Web-browsing services will be banned from October 11, due to the way it handles and stores electronic data. And a Saudi Arabia official has said Saudi telecommunications companies have been ordered to block BlackBerry IM services later this month.
