Two Australian brothers are using blockchain technology to keep track of purchases by layers of an e-sports game they have invented.

The game, Gods Unchanged, is in fact the second by James and Robbie Ferguson to use the Ethereum blockchain. They claim this enables players to trade assets they win in the game.

Gods Unchained is set to go live on Monday night, but already the brothers are reported to have raised $2.4 million in funding via a seed round.

The game will be free to play, the brothers say, and will have a set of assets that can be won. Other assets can be bought for use in the game and can be resold, with the blockchain keeping track.
