Boost Mobile is set to launch a new pre paid mobile broadband service called Boost Mobile Connect on Thursday, 1 April 2010.The new Boost Mobile Connect starter kits and modems will be available through all retail outlets which currently sell Boost Mobile phones. Starter kits will have a RRP of $79 with various recharge options available including a $25 recharge which includes up to 900MB of data.
The company also promised that when customers recharge online they will receive up to 20 per cent more data. Another distinguishing feature of Boost Mobile Connect is its unlimited mobile broadband access to Facebook until 30 September 2010.
General Manager of Business Development, Anthony Torr said, “Boost Mobile’s strategy is to provide the youth of today with products and services that fit their lifestyles. In line with that focus we’re excited to announce the addition of the mobile broadband offering Boost Mobile Connect to our product range.”
Boost Mobile Connect will operate on the Optus Dual Band mobile network.
