In every wash cycle, it generates the cleaning power of over 4100 litres of water from as little as 12.3 litres. There are also energy savings of up to 39 per cent.
Behind this incredible improvement in performance lies innovative technology, which maximizes water efficiency during the wash cycle. All new models are faster heating, are said to have improved pump performance, targeted water distribution and an optimized filter system.
With 12.3 liters of water and an energy consumption of 0.56 kWh for 14 place settings, the new ActiveWater dishwashers have a 4.5 star rating for water and 4.0 star rating for energy efficiency.
In addition, selected ActiveWater models come with a larger interior. There is now space for up to 15 instead of 14 place settings thanks to a third loading level: the new VarioDrawer – an extendable drawer providing extra space for cutlery, small espresso cups, bowls, wooden spoons, salad servers etc.
The VarioSpeed option, which allows a wash and dry cycle to be completed in half the usual time, guarantees that washes are particularly speedy. There is now no need to soak and pre-rinse heavily soiled pots, pans and baking trays by hand.
The DosageAssist feature maximizes the effectiveness of dishwasher tablets, which drop into a special tray during the wash cycle where they dissolve fully, thus optimizing wash results. A three-stage Rackmatic, the height of the VarioFlex Plus top basket can now be easily adjusted by a total of 5cm in three stages – thanks to the larger interior.
