Bowers & Wilkins has launched two variations of True Wireless In-Ear Headphones: the PI7 and PI5, both of which boast exceptional sound quality without compromising quality for the convenient of wireless.
The more high-end version, the PI7 supports Qualcomm aptX Adaptive wireless transmission from compatible mobile devices, allowing for high-resolution music transmission from streaming services – a handy feature given Spotify’s plans to roll out high-res streaming this year, and the recent entry into the market from French company Qobuz.
PI7 also has 24-bit/48kHz wireless transmission between each earbud, and adaptive noise cancellation.
There’s also three microphones in each earbud for taking and making phone calls.
The PI5 is also mighty impressive, with CD-quality playback, user-selectable noise- cancelling, and built-in microphones for phone calls.
Both headphone sets can be controlled via a companion app.
The PI7 True Wireless and PI5 True Wireless headphones will be available from May, for $599.95 and $369.95 respectively.
