Dell has added a new notebook to its range – the AMD powered Inspiron 1501 – targeted at consumers and small businesses.
Other features of the notebook include integrated wireless network, new graphics with up to 256MB of HyperMemory and comes standard with 512 MB shared memory and 60GB hard drive. This is upgradeable to 2GB memory and 80GB hard drive.
It is also supported by Dell’s Next Business Day On-Site service and the new DellConnect tool. The latter allows a technician to troubleshoot online, saving the user time, Dell says.
Environmentalists will also be pleased with Dell’s recycling service available to customers in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Dell will pick up and recycle an old unwanted PC for free with the purchase of any new Inspiron notebook or Dimension desktop.
RRP: from $1099
