Passionate about solar and sustainable design, Darryn Parkinson and Your Abode Interior Design Director partner, Sharon Hamilton, are members of an environmentally friendly group called ‘1% for the planet’ even offering their clients the opportunity to offset carbon produced during construction.
“We believe that greening your home should not be an all or nothing approach. People will want to ‘green’ their homes to varying degrees. They should not feel they are not making an effort, if, for example, they don’t have solar panels or 5-star appliances. Ultimately we believe we can help by educating people and providing them with information so they can make informed choices,” Mr. Parkinson added.
