Following the Digital Radio Industry Report released a few days ago, Bush Australia has revealed that it now has a 40 per cent digital market share across their Bush, Grundig and Revo brands.Bush Australia’s Sales and Marketing Director, Brian Rodgers said, “We are really proud of the direction that DAB+ digital radio has taken. We have had a great response from our retailers and customers. DAB+ has also totally exceeds our expectations and we hope to really drive the success further this year. We plan to introduce in the next few months some innovative digital products, to excite the market and hold on to our share.”
“With 449, 000 (3.7 per cent) of Australian radio listeners tuning into their favourite digital radio stations in the last 6 months, along with 16 new digital stations to choose from, listeners are spoilt for choice,” added the company.
The most recent releases to the market have been the Grundig Touch Panel DAB+ Micro and the Revo IKON and REVO Domino, which have received large amounts of interest from both retailers and customers alike.
Moving forwared, the company also said that it will be launching a variety of DAB+ digital revolutionary products including; both Bush and Grundig handhelds radios, Bush affordable DAB+ Micro and iPod/iPhone clock radios models.
