Bush Australia is not killing off the Grundig LCD TV brand in Australia instead they plan to launch a new range of small screen HD models with integrated SD DVBT players.
Bush Australia who have been active in the Australian market for 2 years claimed that the Company has grown selling the Bush, Ministry Of Sound Audio, Grundig and Joh Bailey Electric brands. Our success has been proven by our GFK figures which continue to grow said local Managing Director Daniel Todd.
He claims that this year Bush Australia will launch the following. Under the Bush brand 19″/26″/32″ and 37″ integrated SD DVBT. All sizes will be available in HD by the middle of 2008 the Company claims. Under the Grundig brand 19″/22″ SD DVBT with DVD in both high gloss black and high gloss white
By Q3 2008 Grundig will have increased this range to include 15.4″/26″ and 32″ with both HD and SD tuners Large screen 1080p models are being developed by our German engineers and will be announced at a later date. In addition to the LCD business we are now suppling very large numbers of SD and HD set top boxes to major retailers. This is also complimented by a range of set top box recorders.
In the Audio market he said “We have a number of Ministry Of Sound micro systems with Ipod docks which have been well received and will be complimented later in the year by a range of MP3 players, it is worth baring in mind that the Ministry Of Sound music download site is a great draw for those wanting to download dance music and all our MP3 players are sold with 2 free downloads, this allows MOS to sell hardware and music.
Under the banner of Bush and Grundig we have a number of analogue radios that are stocked in most retailers and the TR82 has become a fashion icon amongst the young and old alike. Both Bush and Grundig also have a range of lifestyle Audio, the Grundig Ovation II even winning a prestigious design award”.
He also said that Bush is about to role out a new range of Joh Bailey hair care range range consisting of 8 new models and with major retailer support we will be promoting a Mothers Day Competition for a lucky winner to have their hair cut by Joh Bailey himself, an honour recently given to Jennifer Hawkins at New York Fashion Week”.
The Company that does little marketing and has a public relations Company that has to use Marget Gees Media Guide to identify media in the consumer technology market is also set to do battle in the DAB digital radio market.
Daniel Todd said recently ” I was instrumental in the roll out of DAB+ in the UK, so I’ve experienced what digital radio can do for the radio industry; so we’re 100 per cent behind it.” “We already have a very large arsenal of DAB+ products which we sell in the UK and other countries in Europe, and most of those are upgradeable to DAB+.”
