Days out from the launch of their new Zeppelin Mini iPod Dock, British Hi Fi Company Bowers & Wilkins has restructured their distributors in Australia.
Effective immediately the company has dropped Conexus as the distributor of their highly popular Zeppelin iPod Dock, instead distribution will be handled by Convoy who also distribute B&W Hi fi products.
The move is part of a global consolidation of the B&W brand who today slashed the price of the large Zeppelin iPod dock to just $999. It had previously sold for $1,200.
Mark Daley a director at Conexus said “we are no longer distributing the Zeppelin; instead we are concentrating on new iPod products from JBL and iHome. The move to consolidate distribution with Convoy was a global decision.”
Geoff Mathews Managing Director at Convoy said “the decision was not made locally. The B&W Group are currently expanding with new products such as the Zeppelin Mini and their new sound bar. They chose to consolidate their operations in Australia.
