Cambridge Audio’s G5 wireless speaker has landed in the local market, with Synergy Audio Visual today announcing its availability.Sporting an elegant metal and leather exterior, the G5 “produces impressive audio performance with clear treble and bass detail, plus rattle-free, crystal-clear sound, not commonly found in Bluetooth speakers”.
Decked out in a relatively compact and slim cabinet (121 mm x 270 mm x 55 mm), the G5 packs in 2 x 30 mm high-quality mid/high drivers, a dedicated 60 mm subwoofer and two passive auxiliary bass radiators, delivering an “expansive, clear, deep and room-filling sound”. The G5 additionally has a different equaliser setting for each volume step.
The G5’s battery lasts for 14 hours at the higher “party” level and for over 20 hours at the “ambient” level. Users can also charge portable devices, such as phones and tablets, via a USB port on the back of the G5.

The G5 additionally features NFC for one-touch pairing with smart devices.
