The Commonwealth Bank has launched a small-business app that allows businesses to accept payments on-the-spot using virtually any Android or iOS device.
Small business customers will be able to use smartphones or tablets to accept on-the-spot payments, create estimates and invoices instantly, and manage their cashflow and business operations, the bank says.
They can accept payments via BPay, Eftpos, or credit card – including contactless payments.
The app is powered by Pi, the bank’s POS software ecosystem, but needs to be paired with the bank’s Eftpos terminals – dubbed Leo or Emmy. Starting price for Leo is $60 a month; Emmy comes at $30 a month
