Gibson Innovations is showcasing a range of products at CES 2016 under the Philips and Onkyo lines, including the Philips izzy wireless multi-room speaker range.Flexibility is a feature of the izzy range, which comprises four different speakers, with users able to utilise all speakers for the same audio, or connect each to different devices for individual uses.
Employing izzylink technology, users tap a button to link multiple speakers, with no need for a router, password or app, with up to five izzy speakers capable of being linked as a wireless network.
Users can play music on one izzy speaker and press the Group button to share the same music to other in-range izzy speakers.
The izzy speakers work with music apps, allowing for wireless streaming of music from a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or tablet, and support a number of sources, including radio, CD, USB and audio-in music.
– Philips Fidelio E6 Detachable Wireless Surround Cinema Speakers
The latest addition to the E-Series range, the Fidelio E6 comprises two wireless detachable speakers delivering 5.1 surround sound.
The top sections of the two 40 cm tall front speakers can be detached and placed elsewhere in the room for surround sound. With the E6’s spatial calibration algorithm, the detached system “delivers a perfectly balanced sound regardless of speaker placement”.
The E6 features angled 3″ drivers dedicated for the centre channel within the front speakers, directing sound towards the centre of the sound stage, “resulting in crystal clear voice clarity and immersive 5.1 channel sound”, with the effect enhanced by a wireless subwoofer.
The E6, which comes with built-in Google Cast and Spotify Connect, has HDMI inputs and a full HDMI 4K pass-through, and can connect with up to three different Bluetooth devices simultaneously.
The detachable speakers provide up to five hours of battery life during music playback and can be charged by being placed back on the front speakers.

The Hyprlite earbud headphones feature a compact, almost weightless design, designed to fit “seamlessly along the contours of the ears”, and are angled in the earbud style “for improved listening and comfort”.
They feature additional bass tubes in the ear-cans, increasing air ventilation “to pump out deep, rich bass”, and are equipped with 12.2 mm speaker drivers “to reproduce clear, crisp sound and deep, rich bass”.
