
Panasonic has unveiled a Dolby Atmos compatible soundbar designed specifically for gamers, with the SC-HTB01 bringing ‘vast’ sound fields and multiple gaming modes for enhanced experiences.
In co-development with SQUARE ENIX, the gaming-focused soundbar will be available this June, though no pricing information at this time.
Supporting three individual game modes – Role Playing Game (RPG), First-Person Shooter (FPS) and Voice – the adaptability of the soundbar covers all areas of gaming.

Supporting Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and DTS Virtual:X, the 3D stereophonic technology envelops the user in sound from all directions, claims Panasonic.
The soundbar is also compatible with 4K/HDR pass-through and 24bit/192kHz audio.
It’s small and compact design weighs in at under 2kg the SC-HTB01 is only 43 cm wide and 5 cm tall, making it perfect for any setup or display size.
The 2.1 channel soundbar features a pair of 1.5-inch drivers, 0.5-inch tweeters and a 3-inch woofer with a dedicated 30-watt amp.
