Haier has released eight new washers and dryers aimed at the lower end of the price range to give users “value for money” with prices starting at $299 and going up to $729.
The new range includes two new top loaders, three front loaders and three venting dryers.
This laundry release is part of Haier’s launch of 22 new whitegoods models – across laundry, refrigeration, freezer and dishwashing – offering a big range of choice in sizes, features and prices.

The new washing machines include two large capacity (8.5kg) front loaders. The HWM85-1482 has a stainless steel ‘wave’ drum which Haier claims gives a gentler and more effective wash. It also comes with an anti-bacterial treated (ABT) door seal to reduce the chance of mildew, mould and odours which are known to build up from residue grey water left on the door seal.
The new dryers include the new 4kg venting dryer, model HDY-M40, which is compact enough for city apartments. As well as its compact footprint, it has a stainless steel drum; offers seven programs and is front venting. These features are also available in a 6kg model.
