Cisco plans to roll out an all-new range of Flip Video shoot and share pocket video cameras in time for summer. The new line up is aimed to include a model to suit everyone, with new Flip UltraHD and Flip MinoHD models.
Said to feature simplicity of use, the new UltraHD and MinoHD video cameras are now equipped with integrated image stabilisation and a higher frame rate that improve the quality of videos. Cisco is also extending the ways consumers can share their Flip Video clips, with pre-loaded FlipShare software which features direct uploading to Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.
FlipShare also gives improved functionality to take digital still images from video and comes with a Magic Movie button helping consumers to make fun compilation movies of multiple video clips.
Todd Lynton, managing director of Cisco Consumer Products, ANZ, said: “Flip Video has been making it easy for Australians to shoot and share video for a year now, and the new models means even higher quality HD video is now available. Aussies love being able to share their videos quickly and easily, and particularly with Christmas and summer on the way it’s a perfect time to extend our range to ensure we have a product to suit everyone.”
The MinoHD 8GB video camera gives up to 2 hours of HD video, flip out USB for simple upload, easy sharing software built-in, integrated image stabilisation and comes in silver with an RRP of $279.95.
The MinoHD 4GB is available in black and gives up to 1 hour of HD video as well as all the other features of the 8GB model at an RRP of $229.95.
The Flip UltraHD 8GB, claimed to be the world’s best-selling shoot and share video camera, the Flip Video UltraHD, now offers even more reasons to own one. The model has been reengineered with a new smaller and sleeker form factor that will fit easily in any pocket or purse and includes up to 2 hours of HD video, rechargeable or AAA batteries, flip out USB for simple upload, easy sharing software built-in, and integrated image stabilisation at an RRP of $279.95.
The new Flip range will be available in early November through leading retailers.
