It seems more and more people are cottoning on to the power of the Web as a means of promoting new talent and Defhead.com is the latest site to do just that.
Defhead.com is an interactive concert site that streams live music gigs from up and coming Australian bands and artists. The concept was conceived and delivered by Australian Internet broadcaster, Viocorp.
The site was launched by indy band Dappled Cities yesterday evening and the gig will be web cast live on Tuesday December 5, the gig will be followed by a live Q&A session with the band members.
Defhead.com is powered by Viostream, allowing up and coming bands to broadcast their music using live and interactive video and audio web casts across the Internet, the company says. And all shows can be archived so fans can play back their favourite parts.
