On 20 May 2010, this website published an article written by me titled, “Dodgy Online Retailer Takes a Swipe at Clive Peeters & Harvey Norman”. Kogan Technologies claim that article contained a number of errors.
Directors of the company claim that contrary to the article, the ACCC has not previously taken action against Mr Ruslan Kogan for falsely stating prices.
I apologise to Mr Kogan for any offence caused and withdraw my comment that he is “dodgy”.
The article incorrectly referred to a Kogan product as “an LED TV called KevinO8”. The correct product name is “KEVIN37”.
The article also incorrectly reported that Clive Peeters were placed into administration by NAB. In fact, the voluntary administrators were appointed by the board of Clive Peeters. NAB subsequently appointed receivers and managers.
