Fans of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin are clambering to purchase Steve Irwin merchandise – everything from DVDs to signed posters and figurines.
Online auction site eBay currently lists 813 Irwin items for sale in Australia and the US – with most of them appearing online since Monday. A framed uniform worn by Steve Irwin with a signed photo which was selling for $10 before his death leapt up to $5400 by Wednesday.
Online retailer www.digitalhome.com.au also noted an increased interest in Steve Irwin Crocodile Hunter DVDs. Store Manager, Ben Watson said “We’ve listed the Crocodile Hunter DVDs (amongst the DVDs we sell) for almost a year, but today was the first day we sold any – seven in fact. On lady even purchased the entire six volume series!”
