Australian-owned tech accessories manufacturer, Cygnett has taken on Belkin with its ultra-powerful 27,000 mAh USB-C power bank ($179.99), the ultimate charging companion.
Honoree of a CES 2019 Innovation Award, Cygnett claims the ‘ChargeUp Pro 27k’ is its most advanced power bank yet, capable of charging up to three devices at once.
ChargeUp Pro 27K delivers a total of 72W via its three USB outputs: 1x 60W USB-C (PD), 1x 12W USB-C and 1 x 12W USB-A port.
Cygnett claims the power bank will deliver up to 98 hours of battery life and can fully recharge itself in 5 hours via a USB-C wall charger and its 30W USB-C input port.
It states on the packaging that it is airline approved, as ICAO Power Banks allowed in the aircraft cabin must have a capacity of 100Wh/27,0000mAh or less, so this power bank just makes the cut.
Cygnett utilises high-density lithium polymer batteries for a super thin and slim design with a smooth rubber grip surface that will easily slide into your laptop bag or carry-on.
The power bank features 18W fast charging which it promises can charge a 2018 iPhone from 0% to 50% battery life in just 30 mins; offering 7.5 complete charges on an iPhone X and 6.7 charges on a Samsung Galaxy S9.
ChargeUp Pro 27K also provides 29W fast charging for iPad Pro 10.5” and 12.9” (requires USB-C to Lightning cable).
In relation to laptops, Cygnett claims its Power Delivery technology generates four times the standard 15W for USB-C ports, providing a 1 full charge on a MacBook Pro 15″, 1.3 charges on Lenovo Yoga 720 13″, 1.4 charges on HP Spectre x360, 1.5 charges on Dell XPS 9370 13″, and 1.7 charges on Asus Zenbook 3.
And for Nintendo-lovers, the ChargeUp Pro 27K claims to provide 4.7 complete charges on a Nintendo Switch. Ideal for travelling gamers.
The new Cygnett ChargeUp Pro 27K is available to purchase online and at selected retailers. The power bank comes ready to charge devices with an included USB-C to USB-A cable.
