D-Link who has witnessed massive growth with both their routers, baby monitors and security camera business during the past quarter in Australia has won a major design gong at the 2014 CES Show.
The wireless and networking Company was named an International CES Innovations 2014 Design and Engineering Awards Honouree in the Home Networking product category for its latest Wi-Fi Baby Camera (DCS-825L) and the HD Cloud Camera with Colour Night Vision (DCS-2136L).
The CEA board claimed that the D Link Wi-Fi Baby Camera is a state-of-the-art baby monitoring solution equipped with HD resolution, automatic Night Vision with infrared LEDs and two-way audio, allowing parents to quickly respond to their child.
This portable camera also features sound detection, temperature sensor and motion detection which gives parents sophisticated round-the-clock surveillance. With the free mydlink Baby Mobile app, users can quickly and easily see their baby, and even take a snap shot or video, from anywhere with a Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G connection on their iPhone?, iPad or AndroidT device.
“We are very excited to be honoured with a CES Innovation award for both the Wi-Fi Baby Camera and HD Cloud Camera with Colour Night Vision,” said Daniel Kelley, vice president of marketing, D-Link Systems, Inc. “Both cameras are two of D-Link’s newest monitoring solutions, offering a range of features to fit the needs of users. Designed for tech-savvy new parents, the Baby Camera provides the ultimate peace of mind with the ability to check on their baby anytime, anywhere using a mobile device. The HD Cloud Camera with Colour Night Vision is the world’s first IP surveillance camera with wireless 11AC support for longer range and greater bandwidth availability and also features a white light LED for ‘Colour Night Vision’ viewing in complete darkness, ideal for home users and small business owners.”
Offering an advanced surveillance option for small business owners and consumers, the HD Cloud Camera with Colour Night Vision (DCS-2136L) features HD resolution for crisp and clear video and integrated Colour Night Vision technology for viewing in complete darkness. The compact DCS-2136L is D-Link’s first IP camera with 802.11ac wireless technology, ensuring users have the most up-to-date wireless standard and increasing overall range and speed. 802.11ac technology delivers more bandwidth capabilities, allowing a greater number of cameras on the wireless network to help keep an eye on the things that matter most via any browser or mobile device using the free mydlinkT Lite app.
The prestigious Innovations Design and Engineering Awards are sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA).
