D Link has released their top end Viper AC 1900 modem router in Australia.
The device that delivers a vast improvement on the distribution over a Wi Fi network of HD video content delivers access to the latest Wi Fi technology while catering for future Wi Fi protocols being built into tablets, TV’s and smartphones.

The DSL-2900AL device is retailing for $329 with several specialist PC dealers already discounting the device down.
The device combines an ADSL2+ modem and high-end Wi Fi router together to create a single, easy to use router that delivers 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi Fi connectivity.
Three Gigabit LAN ports and one Gigabit WAN/LAN port2 allows users to connect to an NBN or UFB service.
Built-in ADSL2+ modem for connecting to your ADSL enabled phone line for a high-speed broadband Internet connection.
It also has two USB ports to connect storage drives and printers for sharing.
Graeme Reardon the CEO of D Link Australia said that during the past 12 months we have seen an explosion in devices that connect to Wi Fi networks and what consumers need today is a new generation of router technology if they want faster speeds and easier downloads.
“What we are seeing today is an explosion in wireless sound systems, TV’s with Internet connections as well as a new generation of tablets and smartphones that have built in new modem technology, which when connected with the likes of a Viper AC 1900 modem delivers significantly faster throughput. This device also allows significantly more devices to be connected than a lot of the older routers”.
