Dali is set to become the latest speaker company to launch its own high-res multi-room wireless speaker system.
On its website, the company said an “upcoming wireless speaker solution” would take advantage of the BluOS high-res multi-room platform developed by Lenbrook International, and used in existing NAD and Bluesound products.
“There is a growing list and wide variety of wireless multi-room audio solutions that loudspeaker companies can choose to develop on,” said Lars Worre, DALI’s Managing Director.
“Our team reviewed the options and our performance values led us to the BluOS platform, which has earned an enviable reputation as a world leader in this space. For DALI this is a strong pathway for our future roadmap and it provides increased flexibility for discerning audio customers around the world.”
BluOS support high-resolution audio playback at up to 24/192, and is described as a “brand-agnostic” platform that allows any BluOS-enabled products to share music libraries and playlists over the same WiFi network.
No further details on the upcoming multi-room Dali product were announced.
