Dell is set to take it up to the Apple MacBook Air with new Inspiron 13z and 14z laptops that are “wafer” thin.These are part of Dell’s ultra-slim laptop family.

The configure to order 14z has a 14-inch display, is powered by a second generation Intel Core i processor, up to 8GB of memory, a choice of either a 500GB, 640GB or 750GB hard drive. An internal DVD combo drive is included.
The 13z is only shipping in Asia Pacific. Pricing was not given. It features the same processor and memory, but comes with either a 320GB, 500GB hard drive or a 128GB solid state drive.
