Denon has announced two new additions to its X-series AV receivers, featuring support for smart voice control systems.
The X2600H and X1600H both receive Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri functionality, and are capable of 7.2 surround sound with 150 and 145 watts per channel respectively.
Denon has included an enhanced audio return channel for easy television connection and a new audio distribution feature to play audio in multiple zones of a multi-room setup.
Denon said both receivers will remain compatible with 4K and 8K panels and devices well in to the future.
Users can also play multiple streaming services using the HEOS app, as well as stream from their own devices via AirPlay2 and Bluetooth.
The in-built DAC can handle DSD 2.8/5.6MHz files.
Australian pricing is yet to be confirmed, but both receivers are expected to hit local stores in August.
