content streamed from these sources: NAS computers, mobile devices and the
internet via Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth and USB.
The lovely CEOL has Spotify Connect, Internet and FM/AM
radio and a CD player so it covers most of today’s musical bases.
All these features are built into a slick console featuring
top panel controls built into a sleek dual-layered acrylic top panel, and
flanked by a powerful hi-fi speaker system.
Dig a little deeper into the CEOL’s long list of features
and you find it has Airplay for establishing a direct link to iDevices and
iTunes. CEOL is also compatible with Windows 8/RT and will support Spotify
connect, Bluetooth and NFC.
And yes, it allows Internet radio and network audio streaming
via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Files supported include Mp3, WMA, AAC, FLAC, 192/24,
AIFF 192/24 and ALAC 96/24.
Turn to the CD player and you’ll find it plays back
CD-R/CD-RW (WMA or MP3) discs. The CEOL will charge iPods in standby mode and
can be controlled from most smart devices via the Denon Hi-Fi Remote App.
