Electronic retailer Dick Smith will be massively discounting games and consoles come Monday to clear $7 million in excess stock. Up for grabs is a 250GB Xbox 360 console for $100, PlayStation Portables at $40 and games from as little as $1.
The company will be holding a ‘$7 million game clearance’ on Monday the 2nd of April, grossly discounting game consoles and impressive gaming titles on a variety of platforms. Although the leaked price list spans 3 A4 pages, a few notable bargains include:
-250GB slimline Xbox360: $100
-320GB PS3: $199
-Nintendo Wii: $129
-Sony PSP: $40
-Assassins Creed 2 (Xbox360): $5
-Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii): $15
-Need For Speed The Run (Xbox 360): $10
-Halo 3 (Xbox360) $5
Gaming products will be discounted by so much that vooks.net initially reported Dick Smith was quitting gaming market. This prompted Dick Smith to confirm via its Facebook page it “will continue to sell gaming bigger and better than ever.”
The company also turned to twitter confirming the sale is real and will be available online or in-store. |
This is the biggest sale since HP dropped the price on its TouchPad to $99, albeit people actually want Xbox and PS3 consoles. Be prepared for mosh-pit style bruising and if you want to see the full discounted game catalogue, simply check out the next page.
Ecogamer has published a text-based list of the available games and prices, attracting so much traffice their site has crashed. Click here for the list, otherwise click on one of the images for the original leaked documents.
