The distributor behind the success of Beats by Dr Dre in Australia Convoy is today delivering products like Monster headphones, SOL REPUBLIC, Bowers & Wilkins Hi Fi gear, as well as cutting edge devices from the likes of JBL and Harman Kardon.When Geoff Mathews took over as the CEO of Convoy years ago he quickly used his years of Hi Fi experience to transform the Company. He invested in new innovative instore merchandising systems and he was prepared to take risks as retailers started to transform themselves they had to deliver a better instore experience for their customers who were starting to buy online.
They have invested in online and instore merchandising and the risks taken by the Company this year are starting to pay off, recently JBL parent company Harman International have put their faith in Convoy by consolidating all of their audio brands with the Company.
Convoy staff coupled with their great brands, and excellent leadership have made them a distributor that retailers are keen to work with today and I am confident that we will hear a lot more from Convoy in 2014.
