HTC launch affordable 4.5″ Desire 601 dual core, 4G phone.Desire’s 601, 4.5″ qHD screen is the latest addition to HTC One family.
Specs wise, it has a lot of similarities with HTC’s One flagship, but a smaller screen and a less powerful processor – a dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor at 1.4GHz, 1GB of RAM, the new HTC Sense User Interface and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Its runs Voda’s 4G network.

Earlier today, HTC also revealed the 5.9″ Max Phablet, set to go on sale in Australia shortly.
The new affordable Android phone has HTC very cool BlinkFeed with all social networks, news, calenders, and other info on the homesceen, 5MP Zoe camera which lets users simultaneously take a picture and three-second HD video and auto stitch together multiple photos and videos into a Highlights Video with background music and effects.

Desire also incorporates one of the other really cool features found on the HTC One – BoomSound front facing speakers – one of the only smartphones around to have this audio feature.
Desire 601 the most advanced mid-range smartphone available on the market, say its makers, and is the most powerful handset yet in the HTC Desire range.
It comes in one colour – black.

Desire 601 is available on Vodafone plans from $30, $60, $65 all the way to $100, over either 12 or 24 months.
