A cordless phone at home essentially means the convenience of chatting on the phone whilst stirring something on the stove, or watering the garden outside – potentially dirty and wet activities. So Doro’s new 760X splash, dust and shock resistant digital cordless phone is a smart idea.
Apart from the protection from the elements, the 760X offers a colour display, built-in phonebook with 100 positions, caller ID with 50 positions, multiple polyphonic ring tones, vibration alert, paging and a neat SIM sync function. The phone is hearing aid compatible and you can also send and receive SMS messages, depending on your network.
Doro claims the phone has 120 hours standby time and 10 hours talk-time. The phone has a claimed range of 300 metres – so you can keep your phone by you when washing the car.
Each base station supports a maximum of six handsets, so you can keep a handset in the key rooms of your house. You can have a maximum of four registered base stations.
