Dyson has launched its ‘Pure Cool Me’ purifying fan in Australia – its first personal air treatment machine – capitalising on a growing market.
The Pure Cool Me fans are available from Dyson Australia’s website, as well as all major electrical retailers and department stores from September 6, with a RRP of $499.
The air control mechanism creates a steady stream of purified air and allows users to direct the airflow precisely where needed.
According to Dyson, it has “harnessed its expertise in fluid dynamics, air filtration, light sensing and acoustic performance”, and is engineered “to support well-being, delivering cleaner air and a more comfortable cooling experience”.
“Harnessing our knowledge of science and technology, we challenge ourselves to invent things in a different and better way,” said Paul Dawson, vice-president of health and beauty.
“The Dyson Pure Cool Me personal purifying fan is engineered for your personal space, allowing you to take control of your own air quality and thermal comfort.”
The Pure Cool Me fan features 70-degree oscillation for even more customisation and allows users to precisely control the angle of the airflow.
Dyson claims that the implementation of a HEPA layer ensures no compromise in particle capture, trapping even the smallest of particles and capturing 99.95% of pollutants.
In terms of noise, the Pure Cool Me is acoustically engineered to be as quiet as possible, with a layer of acoustic attenuation foam in the base of the machine, which absorbs excess noise from the motor.
“Dyson invests in research to improve the way everyday products work,” said Jake Dyson, chief engineer.
“By combining hardware and software, we develop intelligent machines that solve problems and support your well-being.”
