Creative has gone a long way, creating brilliant sound cards, MP3 players, speakers, and even headphones. The new Creative Aurvana Air is the latest audio product coming out of the company, and it looks very promising.

The Aurvana Air sports an ear-hook design and uses a Nickel-Titanium alloy. The Flexnium ear-hooks allow a user to achieve the perfect fit (by bending), with it returning to its ‘default’ shape afterwards. The package comes with a leather travel pouch with a cable management tray and two pairs of foam ear cushions.
It took some time to get used to, but after a couple of tries we were able to achieve a snug fit. The unit remained attached even while running, which is good if you want to bring this headphone to the gym. Since the Aurvana Air sports an earbud design, it may not be able to isolate background noises as much as in-ear ones. We suggest using this pair of earphones in a relatively quiet place.

Bass-heavy tracks lacked the oomph we were looking for, although it was still able to produce clean and precise bass. If you listen to bass-heavy tracks all the time, then it may be wise to steer away from this product.
If you are thinking of buying an earphone that has brilliant highs and mids, then the Creative Aurvana Air may be the right product for you. It is available for $299.95 at the Creative Online Store.
