LG, Panasonic, Pioneer, and Epson have gained recognition in the European Imaging and Sound Associations (EISA) 2010 Awards for their products.EISA awards are highly respected as its judging panels – formed from the editors of the publications within the association – base their scores on their own rigorous product testing, analysis and comparison.
LG won the “European Best Value LCD-TV 2010-2011” for its LED LCD LG 42LE5300; “European HT Compact System 2010-2011” for its LG HB45E; and “European Green Mobile Phone 2010-2011” for its LG GD510 “Pop” handset.
LG’s President and Chief Technology Office, Dr. Woo Paik said, “We are delighted to have received these awards from EISA, especially to have been given the awards for Green Mobile and Best Value LCD TV once more. Winning these awards underlines yet again LG’s commitment to providing consumers with high quality electronics – designed to deliver excellent performance while reducing energy consumption, delivering on our commitment to our environmental strategy, and still offering great value.”
Panasonic has received EISA Awards for its LUMIX DMC-G2 – “European Multimedia Camera 2010-2011” and DMC-TZ10 camera – “European Travel Compact Camera 2010-2011.”
Panasonic Australia’s Group Marketing Manager, Lumix, Alistair Robins said, “This award for the G2 demonstrates how much LUMIX has achieved in a short time with the G Series. This is such a fresh and innovative camera with features that are in touch with today’s users.”
“Our TZ Series continues to go from strength to strength, with GPS the latest feature to add additional convenience for the LUMIX community, and versatile and creative shooting functions true to the LUMIX philosophy of making it simple to achieve pleasing results,” added Robins.
Meanwhile, Pioneer’s XW-NAC3 digital iPod speaker system was named “European Sound Station 2010-2011”, the AVIC-F20BT was recognised as “European In-Car Navi-Media System 2010-2011” and the TS- SW3001 was awarded “European In-Car Subwoofer 2010-2011.”
Finally, Epson has been awarded European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) European Photo Printer 2010 – 2011 for its Epson Stylus Pro 3880.
Epson Australia’s Marketing Commnuctions Director, Mike Pleasants said, “There is no better recognition of the quality, performance and value in Epson printers than winning awards judged by experts, like the EISA panel.
