The first tablet on Windows 8.1 – Toshiba’s 8 inch IPS tablet (1280 X 800) runs Intel’s new Atom Bay Trail processor, 2 full HD cameras (8-mp rear, 2-mp front), 32GB internal storage, 2GB RAM, Wi-Fi, MicroSD card, Bluetooth and a 7 hr battery life.

Encore comes with full version of Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 coming pre-installed, Xbox as a pre-loaded app with free music streaming service for 90 days and free Xbox games.
Content can be shared between screens using Xbox SmartGlass.The 8 inch tab also pretty light – weighing in at 450g and costs $299-$329 in the US. No local pricing available yet.
