Featuring Epson’s ScanSmart Accounting Edition Software and Nuance Power PDF software, the newest ES-500WR scanner is designed to bring order to financial documents, including receipts and invoices, to home users and small businesses.

‘The new, intuitive Epson ScanSmart Accounting Edition Software1 delivers advanced accounting document management tools to easily preview, email, upload and organise receipts, invoices, financial documents and more,’ Epson said in a statement.

‘The receipt manager function can automatically extract data from receipts and invoices, and export to QuickBooks® Online or Excel, saving users time and eliminating the need for manual entry or possible human error.’

The automatic file naming and receipt recognition tool, with machine-learning capabilities, identifies important data such as vendor names and logos and streamlines the process of storing and finding critical data and documents.

Featuring versatile scanning features, the ES-500WR scanner enables users to wirelessly scan two-sided reports, business cards and receipts to laptops (PC or Mac), tablets and smartphones that can easily be scanned to cloud storage accounts.

Additionally, the Ultrasonic Double Fed Detection is included to prevent missing pages alongside features such as Dynamic Skew Correction, making the ES-500WR a premium, convenient consumer scanner.

The Epson WorkForce ES-500WR can be purchased for $699 and will be available from March this year from Epson’s official website.
