We are one step closer to getting the Beatles on iTunes, we can get one Beatle’s music anyway. iTunes is now offering an exclusive pre-order of Paul McCartney’s new album.
The new album “Memory Almost Full” will be complemented by the launch of McCartney’s full catalogue of 25 solo albums on the iTunes store later this month.
“Paul McCartney is one of the greatest musicians of all time, and we’re extremely excited to offer his first digitally distributed album on iTunes,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO.
“‘Memory Almost Full’ is a very personal album for me, and I’m thrilled to let fans experience it in a whole new way,” said Paul McCartney. “There’s no better time to make this music available through iTunes.”
McCartney’s latest solo album, will be generally available for purchase on 6th June, 2007 and represents the first global release by Hear Music, the newly formed record label from Starbucks Entertainment and Concord Music Group.
