Chinese giant to enter a new appliance sub-category this week, CN has learned.The mystery product will be a ‘flagship home appliance’, according to sources.
Currently, in the appliance space, Hisense sells refrigerators and front loader washing machines in OZ, so the new ‘flagship’ is likely to be within one of these ranges.
No further information is available ahead of an announcement later this week.
The Chinese tech giant has definitely amped up its presence locally, moving its TV’s and tablets range into department store Myer.
Hisense also announced one of the first ‘budget’ 4K Ultra Hi-Def TV for $5000, undercutting big players like Sony, Samsung and LG.
