Samsung Australia has been working with their global research and development teams to deliver the perfect wash option even after a wash cycle has started.
According to Philip Newton Vice President and head of Marketing at Samsung Australia, a threee year reseach and development conducted in Australia has paid off with the release of the Activewash top-load washer.
Speaking at CES 2016, Newton said that Samsung discovered that consumers were buying top load washers so that they could “press pause and throw additional washing into the wash mid cycle”.

“Owners of front load washers were unable to do this. This resulted in the development of Adwash which is a door within a door concept. All of theresearch was done in Australia and we will be releasing this product shortly”.
This product will be available in sizes between 8Kg and 13Kg.
The all-new WW8500 AddWash which is on show at CES 2916, is basically a front-load washing machine with a hidden clothes door.
According to Newton all a consumer has to do is press pause during a wash cycle and the hatch should swing open, allowing you to add anything from a sweater or jeans to extra laundry detergent or fabric softener.
The WW8500 also has a companion Android and iOS app so you can check in on a cleaning cycle from your phone or tablet and even set custom alerts.
Samsung Australia hasn’t announced pricing or availability information for its new WW8500 AddWash washing machine yet.
