A slew of features have been added to Facebook’s new iPhone mobile application, and what is claimed to be a speedier performance.Included in the new app is a full news feed service (including comments), the ability to post photos to friends’ walls, the ability to send requests to friends, and being able to approve/deny friends.
Other functions include photo tagging and captioning, people and in-box search tools and receive message attachments. Finally there is a new toolbar that scrolls with the flick of a finger.
Users can download the app free of charge to both the iPhone and the iPod Touch (running firmware 2.0 or later) directly, or you can do so to a Mac or PC via iTunes so it can be uploaded at a later date.
