No Facebookers were injured during “Facebookmageddon”, we’re glad to report

Facebook fell over briefly on Thursday US time, after it redirected visitors to sites including CNN, Fairfax, Mashable, The Huffington Post and Pinterest, accessing them via their Facebook account to a ‘cryptic’ error page, writes Mashable.
Loads of websites with Facebook plugins like article sharing and suggestions were denied access for about 10-25 minutes.
The Social network blamed a ‘bug’ and says it is now back to normal.
Luckily, no Facebookers passed out during the crash and were said to be working as usual. Or Tweeting about it.
Some took to Twitter with hashtags like “Facebookmageddon” and “Facebocalypse” trending.
“For a short period of time, there was a bug that redirected people logging in with Facebook from third party sites to Facebook.com.
“The issue was quickly resolved, and login with Facebook is now working as usual” the Social Network said in a statement.
Thats ok, then
