Fetch TV have launched the first YouTube application for their IPTV platform in Australia, joining few others worldwide who have made similar moves.

Scott Lorson, the CEO of FetchTV was proud to launch the application on his company’s platform, saying YouTube on TV is will help FetchTV and YouTube grow.
“FetchTV is the first IPTV platform in Australia to offer this YouTube experience for the TV. YouTube offers some of the most compelling content in the world with an increasing proportion available in high definition. We’re bringing a whole new YouTube experience to the TV. The only thing better than the YouTube on your PC, is the YouTube experience enjoyed on your big screen” he said.
YouTube also shared Lorson’s sentiment, with Francisco Varela, Global Director of Platforms Partnerships at YouTube, saying:
“We are very pleased to be able to offer our new YouTube on TV experience with FetchTV. We believe FetchTV customers will benefit from easy access to thousands of popular channels, new content and personalised playlists on YouTube.”
Youtube is available today to all Fetch TV users, joining a growing list of applications including Facebook, Twitter, Wiki, Weather and Mathletics.
Currently FetchTV partners with ISP’s, including iiNet, Internode, Adam Internet, Westnet and Optus.
