JBL has introduced what it claims to be the finest loudspeaker the company has ever created; the Project Everest DD66000.
The Project Everest, created to celebrate JBL’s 60th anniversary, was created without any compromises, its maker claims.
Sonically, it claims to offer authoritative bass, a pure, detailed midrange and open, extended high-frequency response beyond 50kHz. The company says the speakers utilise a number of innovative technologies to including a high frequency driver using a beryllium diaphragm, neodymium-magnet motor structure, Bi-Radial horns and much more.
The speaker is available in rosewood, ebony, cherry and maple – it is a special order product only, as to be expected of a no compromise speaker with a recommended retail price of a mere $80,000!
