Samsung has revealed a new cheap 5G handset called the A90 5G at IFA 2019 and it is coming to OZ soon.
The Galaxy A90 5G is the latest of Samsung’s 5G smartphones, currently Telstra is selling their Galaxy 10 %G model with their latest offering tipped to also be available at JB Hi Fi.
ChannelNews got to play with the device at the Samsung Press briefing and while it’s set to be cheaper the quality is very much mid-range despite it being 5G.
While it’s an “affordable” phone it’s still not going to be cheap at around $1,000.
The device is slim, but not as slim as the Galaxy 5G. It weighs in at 206g despite it being tall. The dimensions of this new 5G offering which is set to go on sale in Australia in early October, are 164.8 x 76.4 x 8.4mm making it tall and slim in the hand.
The Super AMOLED screen of the Galaxy A90 5G is large, at 6.7 inches diagonally and the first thing you notice is that the colours are bright which is what’s to be expected from a Samsung device.
The Infinity-U display has a ‘tear-drop’ notch that houses the front-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A90 5G has three rear cameras, consisting of a 48MP main camera, 5MP depth sensor, and 8MP snapper with ultra-wide lens.
We will see more of this device tomorrow when we also get a hand on with the new Samsung Fold.
