Apple, who is already facing component supply problems with their new iPhone 5, may have another problem with the Company tipped to delay the launch of their new range of iMacs.

According to French web site MacBidoulle, Apple is having supply problems due to issues with the manufacturing process of their iMacs, which pass through an aluminium welding system under high pressure similar to processes that are used to assemble the wings of aircraft such as the Airbus A380.
According to Apple, the 21.5 “was scheduled for November 27 and the 27” for December. Speculation is that Apple will now miss the peak Xmas and back to school period.
The French site said that this is very bad news for Apple, whose Mac sales were disappointing last quarter.
