Foxtel has announced it will repeat the new series of the popular show Love My Way in prime-time spots throughout the viewing week.
Foxtel’s Heidi Virtue denied the strategy is an excuse to recycle content for an audience already sick of the pay TV service’s typically stale rotation. “There is plenty of content,” she said. “We’re giving non-iQ subscribing viewers the opportunity to see Love My Way when they might not otherwise”.
Foxtel’s Brian Walsh said “Mutli-plays of each episode (will be) played each and every week for duration of the 12-week season. We will continue to provide this choice and convenience for our subscribers for the entire second series.”
The Logie & AFI Award-winning Australian drama will continue to star Claudia Karvan (Frankie), Brendan Cowell (Tom) and Ben Mendelsohn will play a pivotal character, Louis.
Love My Way‘s second series premieres on Sunday 5 February at 8.30pm on the W. Channel. If you miss it you can catch it again on Monday at 8.30pm, Tuesday at 7.30pm, Wednesday at 10.00pm and Saturday at 3.00pm.
Virtue said Foxtel will “probably continue” the multi-play strategy with other Foxtel-made programs.
