Samsung’s 64 GB Galaxy Note 5 Gold has today officially gone on sale in Australia.The new gold Note 5 is also the first available local variant of Samsung’s flagship large-screen smartphone available with 64 GB of internal memory, with the device on offer from a number of national retailers.
The 5.7″ quad-HD Super AMOLED display Note 5 runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, is equipped with an octa-core (2.1 GHz quad + 1.5 GHz quad) 64-bit processor, and features LTE Category 9 connectivity.
Sporting a glass and metal design, the Note 5 is decked out with a 16 MP main camera and 5 MP front camera,

comes with Samsung’s S Pen stylus, and features touch-based fingerprint recognition for added security.
The Galaxy Note 5 Gold is available from Telstra, Dick Smith, Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Bing Lee and The Good Guys, along with the Samsung Experience stores in Melbourne and Sydney and the Samsung Australia online store, carrying a price-tag of $1,199 RRP.
