Gerry Harvey will be present at Harvey Norman in Alexandria for the midnight launch of Windows 8. Harvey will man the till and sell the first copy of Windows 8 in person.
Harvey Norman’s head of computing, Ben Macintosh will also be present. Both executives are celebrating the launch of Windows 8 and the fact that their customers will be amongst the first in the world to get a copy of Microsoft’s reimagined operating system.
The new OS has undergone the most dramatic changes since Windows 95, incorporating touch gestures, adapting to a variety of forms and characterised by a new live tile interface.
