Definitive Technology has just unveiled four new high-performance Descend Series subwoofers, with new technology that provides a richer, deeper bass sound.
The new range boasts unique 3XR Architecture, which employs dual passive radiators that provide triple the bass-producing surface area of a traditional ported subwoofer of the same size, which allows the surface to move more air, giving a massive bottom end, with deeper bass, and higher output levels.
The series includes the DN15, DN12, DN10 and DN8, all named for their respective sizes.
Each model has LFE connectivity with the 12- and 15-inch model also sporting stereo line level RCA input, so you can hook up your traditional wired record player for the best sounding vinyl you’ll hear in years.
All four models are available in non-resonant cabinets finished in Midnight Black, with the two smaller models also available in Glacier White.
“Definitive Technology was founded on the premise that superior technical innovation can deliver thrilling high-performance audio experiences for any need or application,” said Frank Sterns, president of Definitive Technology.
“We take R&D seriously, and we’re home to some of the best engineering minds in the industry. The Descend Series is a must-listen for anyone who appreciates impactful, dynamic and extended deep bass.”
