Getting used to a new operating system can be tricky, especially when it’s as significantly different as the new Windows Vista.
That’s why tech support company Gizmo has partnered with Microsoft to offer home users a set of services that will help with the new Vista operating system when it is released in retail stores next Tuesday.
It will offer two onsite packages to help with the transition to Vista, one for setting up and customising the software and one for networking.
The ‘Set Me Up’ package will assist with connecting the computer to the Internet and transferring data to a new PC, and will also familiarise users with Vista’s features.
‘Network Me’ not only helps with establishing a home network, but also helps with sharing of files throughout the home.
Gizmo will also offer phone support of up to one hour for customers with a new Vista PC.
